A film by Duane Peterson III & Patrick McCormack
This short documentary employs an anonymous hotline to elevate the voices beneath Vermont’s F-35 flight path.
Tranquil scenes of unassuming neighborhoods near Burlington International Airport are juxtaposed with voicemails of the unheard, those drowned out by the ear-shattering “sound of freedom.”
The response so far:
We virtually premiered this film on Thursday, 4/15/21 to hundreds of viewers around the state of Vermont and beyond. We’ve received and outpouring of appreciation and supportive remarks and those words have been humbling. Thank YOU for watching, sharing, and keeping this discussion alive.
The goal of this ongoing project is to give voice to the voiceless and agitate this unacceptable imposition on our community and beyond. We’re still pursuing media and offering the film to organizations across the country to share Vermont’s experience under the flightpath. To our eye, these perspectives are invaluable and Jet Line offers a simple vehicle for them to be heard.
Whats next for our project?
I hope you’ll stay tuned for that answer. Duane and I are working tirelessly to shed light on this topic and challenge the status quo. If you enjoyed the film and would like to support this labor of love, we accept contributions towards distribution and production costs.
Jet Line in the News:
