Hi again,
It’s been too long since I’ve published on here! That usually means I have loads of new work I need to slow down and publish. The priority this weekend is to share a recent article in Collater.al Magazine where I released a handful of new images as part of my series-in-progress, HOME PLANET.
Here’s a pull quote from Collater.al’s piece and a handful of frames from the series:
“The images in Home Planet depict scenes that oscillate between the ordinary and the symbolic, where fatherhood and grief intertwine as subtle yet constant presences. The project reflects how personal experience reshapes the artist’s gaze, suggesting that there is no clear divide between life and art, only a continuous flow of emotions and visual narratives.”

Related question of the week: Do you have any favorite photo books? If so, what appeals to you most about them?
And lastly: what’s stuck in your head today?
Henry just showed me Boyhood by The Japanese House, I’ve been revisiting some 2000’s records like The Books, and I dig that Caroline song that just came out, Tell me I never knew that.
If my next Substack isn’t out in 2 weeks I deserve hostile DMs.
Talk soon,
PM
Happy to have found you over here, Patrick!
